Election Day can’t come soon enough
Melanie Sturm’s column Thursday about Elizabeth Warren was spot on (“Elizabeth Warren is right – the system is rigged,” The Aspen Times).
Warren is a creature of the elitist Harvard faculty, who think they know best for us poor, working Americans who have the simple task of filling their tax coffers so that they can promulgate their rules, like not drinking from 16-ounce cups, a la Bloomberg, to vilifying corporations, a la Warren, which actually make this country a pretty good place to live.
The slogans under which Warren operates are fluff and claptrap to disguise her real objective, which is to get one more Democratic seat in the Senate to support the absolutely insane policies of the Democratic camp. Why would anyone leave a $380,000 annual post for a seat in Congress? Must be because of the Hopey-Changey act and routine that Obama mesmerizes everyone with, while he prances around hitting the Letterman show while Israel wants to meet.
There are some of us who cannot wait for Nov. 6 to roll around so we can boot him out the door of the White House. Same goes for his supporters.
