El Jebel Tree Farm project review delayed

Aspen Times Staff Report
Aspen, CO Colorado

EL JEBEL ” Eagle County’s review of a midvalley project for 319 residences and 95,000-square-feet of commercial space has been postponed until May 7.

The Tree Farm project in El Jebel was scheduled to be reviewed Thursday by the Roaring Fork Regional Planning Commission. That hearing won’t be heard so that the county staff can have more time for analysis.

The planning commission is an advisory board that makes recommendations on land-use issues to the Eagle County commissioners. The board started review of the Tree Farm proposal in January and asked developer Ace Lane and his team to provide more information in issues like traffic generation and impact on schools.
