Ed Bradley: Still keepin New Orleans music alive!

Dear Editor:Last evening, The Friends of Ed Bradley hosted a FRIENDRAISER for the New Orleans Musicians Clinic & Assistance Foundation, in celebration of what would have been his 68th birthday.Marc and Jim from Jazz Aspen/Snowmass gifted us with an awesome band that filled the Woody Creek Community Center with the New Orleans funk Ed (or as he was known to us, Teddy Badley) so loved.Even the rain storm, very New Orleans, could not dampen the generosity of our compassionate Aspen supporters. We are deeply grateful to Bridget Ballentine for her delicious homemade gumbo, Beth Gill and the staff of the Aspen Branch for conjuring up the spirit of our “bent not broken” city, and Steve Mundinger for his images of our beloved musicians we strive to sustain through these economic hard times.MERCI ASPEN!Bethany Ewald Bultmanpresident, New Orleans Musicians Clinic & Assistance Foundation
