Don’t confuse the marketplace
Dear Editor:
While I applaud the marketing efforts of Jack Rafferty, the Snowmass community should know that the town of Snowmass Village has an official, designated marketing organization, headed by a very capable Susan Hambly, called Snowmass Tourism.
When various people and organizations start their own marketing initiatives, that fractures the big picture that is being implemented by the destination management organization, such as Snowmass Tourism, resulting in mixed messages and confusing the public. Greed and excitement must be curbed and an overall plan developed.
Work with the Snowmass Tourism … work together … more will be accomplished and a greater return on investment will be reached!
Please, please curb your enthusiasm and work with the destination management organization!
