Don’t blame Obama
September 10, 2011
I have been watching some of the Republican debates and road shows, and also the Tea Party comedians that are taking over the GOP. Actually, all you hear is blah-blah-blah!
I haven’t heard any solid ideas or plans from any of the candidates. They only criticize and blame Obama for our nation’s problems! It is amazing what short memories American voters have since the Bush administration and what happened on his watch.
The recession, two wars, nearly 20,000 dead and wounded, and I’ll never forget the banner “Mission Accomplished”. I was watching CNN, and Dick Cheney came on and he said, “The bailouts were necessary, and they had my support!”
Wow! Everything that happened before Obama was put in office is being blamed on him, and that’s not right. I don’t agree with all of Obama’s ideas, but at least he is trying, and that is more than you can say for the GOP.
Our nation is falling behind in many ways to other countries due to the horse-and-buggy thinking of the GOP and Tea Party! We have antiquated train systems, electrical grid systems, infrastructure, education, etc. Our students are falling behind in math and science, but they know how to use iPods and can text message on cell phones. Isn’t that great?

To correct the above, there has to be changes in the thinking of our elected officials in Washington, D.C., and it will take money, taxes and brains to get on the road to recovery. I want the GOP and Tea Party to tell me how any of the things listed previously can be done by their way of thinking.
