Done with Snowmass

Dear Editor:It is with a very sick heart I read about the horror and ignorance displayed by Dan MacEachen and Krabloonik kennels. My family and I have been coming to the valley, specifically Snowmass Village, since 1958 for vacations. We always felt this area possessed a rare magic. Sadly, the unthinking, greedy actions of Dan MacEachen and the money-driven support from the Snowmass Village mayor have taken the magic away. In past years, my family and I had taken sled-dog rides at Krabloonik. Little did we realize what was taking place at that facility. We will not return to Snowmass Village for our vacations.Dan MacEachen has allowed his ignorance and brutality to poison that once-beautiful area. He deserves to be the one in the “s— pit.”Goodbye, Snowmass Village. Hello, Big Sky!Christine HardyPolson, Mont.
