Donate canned foods, eat pancakes with Basalt Lions Club on Saturday

The Basalt Lions Club will hold a free pancake breakfast in Lions Park by Town Hall the Wyly Community Arts Centers on Saturday.

Breakfast will be served from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. The Lions are also serving the competitors in the U.S. National Fly Fishing Championships. The Lions are urging community members to join the anglers for breakfast.

While there is no charge, the Lions are suggesting that diners donate non-perishable food, such as canned foods. All items collected will go to the Lift Up food pantries in the Roaring Fork and Lower Colorado River Valleys.
