Donald Leroy Bean

Donald Leroy Bean, 73, of Glenwood Springs, passed away Monday, Feb. 2, 2009.

Donald was born May 21,1935, in Larkspur, Colo. to Edward Jehu Bean and Helen (Price) Bean. He married Minnie Marie (Rowland) in Woodland Park, Colo. Donald was an area resident for 45 years.

Donald was a very excellent “Craftsman of wood” both as a profession and as a hobby.



Donald is survived by his sons Mike Bean of Glenwood Springs, Ed (Cheryl) Bean of Glenwood Springs; daughter Connie (David) Wagner of New Castle; Brother Glen (Linda) Bean of Little Rock, Ark.; sisters Nita (Larry) Marshall of Benton, Ark., Sharon Cole of Chicago, Bev (Ron) Godridge of Chicago; cousin Wanda (Mick) Combs of Security, Colo.; six grandchildren ” April, Dustin, and Ryan Bovee, and Adam, Gennie and Heather Bean, who are all local. He is also survived by five great grandchildren. Donald was preceded in death by his wife Minnie (April of 1998) and daughter Patricia Ann.

There will be a graveside memorial May 21, at Rosebud Cemetery, time to be determined later.
