Doesn’t add up

Dear Editor:

Newt Gingrich, the self-proclaimed moralist and recently converted “devout” Catholic who led the impeachment charge against President Clinton, now excoriates the press for asking him about his violation of the Seventh Commandment and entreating his former wife Marianne to consent to and go along with his adultery while at the same time taking a hard line against gay marriage.

So Newt says it’s OK for heterosexuals to commit adultery but not for gay people to get married. Don’t gays have the same right to commit adultery as heterosexuals? What gives, Newt Man?
