Do not pass Go, do not collect $20

Dear Editor:

The free rides home at night have been temporarily halted. The driver has been located, and expected to be locked up in jail by nightfall. He was found guilty of contempt of court for receiving a $20 gratuity from a state undercover agent, and Judge Nicholson has indicated jail is required.

Sentencing will be at Judge Nicholson’s courtroom at 1 p.m. today.
