Do more, whine less

Dear Editor:

Free speech is a wonderful and necessary item in any government. The ability to proclaim your thoughts, beliefs, and hopes is a precious thing.

That said, I really miss the days when political activists who oppose a candidate for office actually present a better solution or person for our future versus only fill our senses with denigration and complaints.

Reminds me of all those people who just whine without offering a specific alternative.
