Do it for the children
Dear Editor:
In the eight years that I have attended Aspen Community School, I have learned many lifelong skills, and my academics have skyrocketed. The teachers here are so dedicated. They don’t just teach me – they care about my education. They want me to succeed. If it were not for this school, I would not be where I am today. I want other kids to have the same opportunity that I have had.
Our school was built in the 1970s, and I don’t think it will last much longer. It is a small school in Woody Creek with some really old and broken facilities. The “I Believe” campaign is dedicated to raising money to build new facilities for our school. The younger kids are looking at the plan for the new school, and they want it to happen so badly that they are putting pennies in a jar to help raise enough money. We could use your help.
Please help us raise enough money to build our new school. It will mean so much to so many kids.

Bar Talk: Barraquito
On a recent trip to Spain, I discovered something that I believe tops the espresso martini. It’s called a barraquito.
