Dear Editor:I have been following the letters and stories about the Aspen Club and Michael Fox’s effort to develop the property. Along with the majority of P&Z members that agreed to the plan, I also agree that what Michael wants to do is good for the community in that the club has become a bit of an institution for our town. But I wanted to comment about some of the letters that have been submitted against the plan. It appears to me that there is a PR plan in process to not only disagree with the plan as approved, but to make a personal attack on Michael Fox. To disagree is one thing, but to personalize your opinions in a public forum in such a negative way, and considering what many people know about Michael, that he is a good guy, it is not in good taste and definitely not a good play for whomever is heading up this effort against him.
