DIA on pace to set passenger record

DENVER ” Airport officials say Denver International had nearly 46 million passengers through the first 11 months of 2007 and is on target to break a record.

The previous one-year record was 47.3 million passengers in 2006.

The airport reported Wednesday it had more than 3.8 million passengers in November, the highest November total on record.

Airport Aviation Manager Turner West says DIA’s traffic is growing by about 4 to 5 percent a month.
