Denver Broncos Salute to Fans Tour to make Aspen stop
Aspen fans of the Denver Broncos typically have to make the three-hour Interstate 70 trek to see their favorite player. But later this month, the Broncos will be coming to Aspen.
The Denver Broncos Salute to Fans Tour will make a stop from 1:30 to 3 p.m. May 20 at the Gondola Plaza, the team recently announced.
“This is an initiative we are extremely proud of and one that Broncos staff and players alike look forward to being a part of every year,” Broncos marketing director Ted Santiago said. “We recognize that our fans extend beyond Denver, and this is an opportunity for us to reach fans all across the state of Colorado.”
The Aspen visit will mark the 10th of 11 stops for the Broncos tour, which began April 21 in Cortez and concludes June 3 in Fort Collins.
Broncos players, cheerleaders and Miles the mascot will make public appearances during the tour. The team has not announced which players will be in Aspen.
“As a way to thank fans for their loyalty, passion and ongoing support, each tour stop will be free and open to the public,” the Broncos said in a statement.
