Deepest thanks

Dear Editor:We would like to express our sincere thanks to family and friends for their caring and support during our difficult time. To everyone who sent food, flowers, cards and donations and to those who helped with other arrangements during the loss of Puppy Smith, we appreciate the kindness and the thoughtfulness shown to us. A very special thanks to Rev. Marie Gasau, the Aspen Volunteer Fire Department, the Aspen Elks, the city of Aspen, the American Legion of Carbondale and the Eagles, who worked together to provide such a wonderful service and reception. What a tribute to Puppy and an honor to his family to see the number of people he touched in so many positive ways. Puppy died as he lived – enjoying life to the fullest, doing the things he loved with the people he loved. While he may have left this earth, he will forever remain in our hearts and our memories. Sincerely and with deepest thanks to everyone,Juanita Allen-SmithCarbondaleand the family of Puppy Smith
