Decision was for the birds

Dear Editor:

I would like to commend the Colorado Division of Wildlife, and especially Perry Will and Travis, for their decision to postpone cutting the rest of the pinon and juniper trees in their land management area during the critical nesting period for our local and migratory birds; especially in light of the fact that many of these same species are diminishing in numbers.

These people deserve much credit for all their hard work and dedication.
