Debt trumps space
Dear Editor:
Do you want to talk about our government wasting money? Over $50 billion? It’s for NASA’s space junk. What’s the rush to the moon and Mars? As far as I’m concerned, if we get there in 100 years that’s fine with me. Because, it will take that long to reduce our debt, if we are all still around to do it.
Do you know in 10 years, the money wasted on space junk could reduce our debt $1/2 trillion? Yes, $1/2 trillion. Pretty soon we’ll be talking about real money. On this, even the idiot Glenn Beck could agree, or could he?
The moon can wait, Mars can wait, but can we wait to reduce our debt?
