David Craig selected as Colorado Hotelier of the Year

General Manager of the C Lazy U Ranch David Craig was named Hotelier of the Year by the Colorado Hotel & Lodging Association (CHLA). The award is reserved for industry professionals who dedicate their careers to the Colorado lodging industry.

Craig is a long-time Aspen resident who splits his time in Granby. He has previously worked at the Hotel Jerome and the Stonebridge Inn.

Craig has served as chair of the CHLA and with more than 25 years in the hospitality industry – ranging from resort to luxury hotel and membership clubs – Craig brings to the industry a wealth of information and experience. Craig took the reins at the C Lazy U Ranch two years ago. Late last month, Condé Naste Traveler ranked the ranch in Granby the top luxury resort in Colorado, fourth in the country and 13th in the world.

Aspen government immune from development fees
