Danger zone

This may sound harsh, but does someone else have to be killed to get some paint in the Snowmass Canyon?

Of course we all know from the story in the paper that the timing of the painting last time had “nothing to do with the recent fatality.”

It just happened to be right after the accident. The huge, white signs proclaiming that there was no center line that went up right after the accident were probably also unrelated, as were the reflective posts between the lanes that were installed that same day.

If you’re not going to paint again for several months, due to construction, please put the reflective posts back up!

The recent fatality may have been caused in part by a glass of wine, but some lane markings may save some future lives.
