Dance experience

Dear Editor:Aspen Youth Experience would like to extend our sincere appreciation to all involved in bringing our first dance party to fruition last Wednesday, Aug. 18.The evening was open to youth from 1317 years of age and was a success with more than 50 teens in attendance. Jeremy Guterman and Alex Brough generously provided the venue – “The Club With No Name,” aka “Club Anonymous” – at 215 S. Galena. DJ High-Chi donated his time, spinning discs for the kids from 8 to 10:30 p.m.Our chaperones, Jack Johnson, Rachel Rogers, Sebastian Wanatowicz, Therese Weir and Gladys Martinez-Augello ensured everyone had a good time. Thanks to City Market for donating sodas and Domino’s for providing gift certificates for our raffle.Judging by the success of the first event, we hope to host another dance open to valley teens in the next few months.
