Dance and art a joy for the kids

Dear Editor:

Partners in Education, Basalt Elementary School’s parent teacher group, would like to thank the wonderful Ballet Folklorico dancers and the Aspen Art Museum for their contributions to our International Dinner Potluck on Oct. 11.

Guests at our dinner were treated to a thrilling and beautiful performance by the dancers, and we can’t thank Francisco (Paco) Nevarez-Burgueno, of Ballet Folklorico, enough for his contributions to our kids and community. The Aspen Art Museum added flair to the event by sending two of their finest, Annie Henninger and Danielle Stephens, to lead the kids in fun art projects.

We are so grateful to have this support for our school and families.
