Carbondale boutique robbed at gunpoint
Carbondale police are looking for a man who they say robbed Gloria’s Boutique at gunpoint early Tuesday evening.
At about 6 p.m. police got a call that a man wearing a gray hoodie and a ski mask had pulled a gun on the boutique’s owner inside the store. He fled with an undisclosed amount of money, according to a statement.
Based on the business owner’s description, officers are looking for a man between 5 foot 4 and 5 foot 6 “with a thin build and black hair.”
Other witnesses reported seeing him flee from the store toward the Rio Grande Trail, according to police. At some point Tuesday evening, police found the ski mask and sent it for analysis by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.
