Credit where credit is due

Dear Editor:

My name is Glen Niemeyer. I am the mechanical collaborator for Bare Bonz Choppers. First, I would like to thank the Times for the wonderful article on the Sabre bike (“The cat’s meow: Sabertooth Tiger Chopper,” Aug. 25).

But I really just wished to add one important fact not mentioned ” special thanks go to Fred Rice of Aspen Custom Cycle. Without his assistance in short notice parts supply, and actually showing up at the Buffalo Chip in Sturgis to help me finish the bike and make it run with 14 hours to spare. If you read this Fred, I don’t know if we could have pulled it off without you. Thanks pal. I just wanted to give some credit where credit is due.
