Cream of the crop

Dear Editor:

Feeling the need to ski with all this snow, my partner and I packed up our gear and drove over the hill to a competitor area that had recently opened for the season. Despite only having one lift, and consequently one run, open to the public, sliding around the mostly man-made white gold was fun, and momentarily satisfied our desire to engulf our feet in heavy vices (ski boots are a long way from flip flops).

When we could no longer take the scenery – skiing lap after lap on the same run can begin to feel like a virtual merry-go-round – we packed up our gear and headed home, all the while talking about how much the Aspen Skiing Co. does right.

Kudos, Skico, for making the guest experience such a high priority. The difference is extraordinary.
