UPDATE: All lanes on Highway 82 and Brush Creek Road now open

Crash closes Highway 82 at Brush Creek light
Both eastbound lanes of Colorado Highway 82 are closed at the Brush Creek Light due to a motor vehicle accident. According to a Pitkin County press release, as of 10:27 a.m. there is no access to Brush Creek Road for westbound traffic on Highway 82.
The expected length of this closure is currently unknown. The Aspen Times will continue to provide updates as information becomes available.
