Council victor gives thanks
Dear Editor:
As a first-time candidate for City Council I can honestly say I thoroughly enjoyed the election process. In the last two months of campaigning I have met and gotten to know more great people in our town than I had in the past 18 years.
To the other eight council candidates it was an honor to compete with you all for the opportunity to serve our town.
To my wife, Kerri, sons Cooper and Blake, and daughter Kylie, thank you for your love, patience and sacrifice.
To the “team” and all who supported the campaign, thank you for your passion, dedication, belief, hard work and long hours. You made the difference.
To my fellow employees at the Aspen Skiing Co., thank you for picking up the slack while I was away, and always being supportive.
To the residents of Aspen, thank you for the vote of confidence to help lead our great community for the next four years. I am both excited and humbled by this responsibility. I do not take it lightly. I promise to serve fairly, honestly and with an open mind.
Thank you, Aspen.
