Correcting a mistake
Mistakes must be corrected, especially those affecting children. When eighth grade students at Aspen Middle School graduation were acknowledged for making the Principal’s List (maintaining a 3.75 grade-point average), four students were not recognized because we had signaled the computer an incorrect search message.
Students who make the Principal’s List work hard for this academic accomplishment and provide the leadership that our school and community value. The four students who need to be recognized are Matthew Cooper, Traci Clapper, Taylor Buzbee, and Andrew Conarroe.
I apologize for this error and wish them the best in their high school careers. We are so fortunate to have these outstanding students in the Aspen School District.
