Coors right on drinking age

Dear Editor:Watching the Senate debate on “Meet the Press,” the issue of reducing the drinking age from 21 to 18 was addressed. As a recent college graduate, I can confirm the indisputable fact that our minimum drinking age laws are not being enforced. Students at every university in the state drink and distribute alcohol on a regular basis. Why have such laws if it they are not enforced? Furthermore, the drinking laws in most European countries are limited to 18 years of age, including England, France, Italy, Switzerland, et al. Coors is right on this issue and Salazar is wrong.
