Contribute, don’t complain

Dear Editor:

Let’s all lay off Judy Haptonstall. Grow up and shut up. If you want things to be different then get involved and quit griping.

There were vacancies on school district boards that were filled at the 11th hour. If you have an opinion then volunteer to lead. Both my sons graduated from the Roaring Fork School District, and they are as highly evolved, as educated and as respectful as anyone. Far more so than some.

The job is tough enough dealing with all the disparate, diverse demands placed on our educators every day by demanding parents who do not contribute anything but complaints. Let’s get beyond this latest tempest and make sure we are proactive in the future.

And how many of you watched the president’s speech at home with your children?
