Congrats to AVSC
Dear Editor:
I send my congratulations to those honored at the 75th anniversary of the Aspen Valley Ski and Snowboard Club.
As a participant in the late 1950s and early 1960s and as a coach and manager in the 1970s, I witnessed firsthand the enormous energy and creativity of many who contributed years – even decades – to maintaining the club’s strong traditions, furthering its purposes and improving its programs and facilities.
Now, as then, it is fitting to celebrate the efforts of those who ensure the club’s continued vitality and ongoing service to the community.
