Concerned about growth? Vote

Dear Editor:Thank you to Katharine Thalberg for her articulate and concise letter to the papers last week. My observations have been parallel and I believe she reflects the attitude of the majority of voters. Jon Busch recently wrote that this election will be old Aspen verses new Aspen, however it’s clear that Burlingame has the old Aspen vote divided. And I can see why. It’s a difficult decision that I hadn’t totally come to terms with myself yet.Fortunately mayor and city council and Burlingame are voted on separately and should be seen as such. Voters can be pro-Burlingame and still find the actions and attitudes of our current city council objectionable.I urge voters who are concerned about growth and feel we need to have representatives who share their concerns to vote accordingly, regardless of their stance and vote on Burlingame. In my opinion these people are Terry Paulson or Burt Myrin, Dee Malone andCliff Weiss.Kallen vonRenklAspen
