Community rallies for Willits family

Dear Editor:

The family and friends of Lloyd Willits want to thank everyone in this great community for the support shown last Saturday night. The benefit at Two Rivers Cafe was a huge success, and it shows just how strong our community is.

Special thanks go out to Two Rivers Cafe for hosting the event. Also, thanks to all the musicians who played: Bo Hale Treatment, Harleywood Band, Rob Kepper, Jon Michel, Michael Jude, Suzanne Hale Band, Hayden Gregg and Ray DiBacco. You all put on great shows and the house rocked! Thank you to all the businesses and individuals that donated items to the silent auction or food for the buffet. I wish we could name them all, but there were over 100 donations.

The benefit will help the Willits family with the financial stress of medical bills and loss of work during Lloyd’s recovery. Donations to the Lloyd Willits Benefit Fund are still being accepted and can be dropped off or sent to Bank of Colorado in El Jebel, 655 E Valley Road, Basalt.
