Community event with Town Council set for Thursday
Apres ski with the Snowmass Town Council at the Collective (Building 6) in Base Village from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday.
Town Council members will be available to chat with the public on any topic of interest.
All are invited meet with council, ask questions and offer any feedback over free treats, live music and a cash bar.
The Carbondale-based band, “The Ferlies,” also will perform inside the Collective.
The event is part of Town Council’s ongoing efforts to increase its engagement with the Snowmass community.
Similar to its “Get the Scoop” ice cream social last summer, the event is aims to mix Town Council and community in a fun setting, instead of relying on the public to attend meetings or submit formal comments.

The U.S. Forest Service announced Tuesday it is starting review of Pitkin County’s proposal for a trail between Redstone and McClure Pass. The process will include two chances at public comment.
