Community comes together

Dear Editor:

From time to time there is an event that brings community together with one voice, one spirit. This happened in Basalt at the Fields of Dreams memorial service for Nick Alcorta.

Nick’s irrepressible spirit and energy filled the whole field. It’s clear that Nick profoundly touched the lives of every person there, and we offer heartfelt gratitude to all who helped create this unforgettable memorial service. It brought strength and healing in the face of overwhelming loss.
