Congratulations to Marilyn Marks for her efforts to ensure that the Aspen vote is accurate. It takes a spirited person to pursue a legal issue for so many years against a city.
I find it odd that the city is opposed to a detailed review of the election results. We all remember the 2000 presidential elections when the ballots in Florida were examined, one by one, to discern the accuracy of each ballot in question.
The citizens of this country should know that there is oversight of our elections to be sure the results have been accurately counted and the results properly reported.
