Coldwell Banker Mason Morse recognizes team

ASPEN – Coldwell Banker Mason Morse recently was named the top independently owned and operated Coldwell Banker affiliate in Colorado.

Top producers and several longstanding employees who embody the company’s values were honored during an awards ceremony. CEO Brooke Peterson acknowledged the company’s 2012 successes and credited brokers and staff for the company’s great year.

Top producers who were recognized include Carrie Wells and Heather Sinclair, of the Aspen office, Nancy Emerson and Ryan Jennings, of the Carbondale office, and Chris Patrick and the team of Nancy Carlson and Mandy Murray, of the Glenwood Springs office.

Also honored were brokers who made the top 10 percent of the multiple-listings service: Carrie Wells, Brian Hazen, Heather Sinclair, Bob Starodoj and Bryan Peterson in the Aspen office, Nancy Emerson, Jim Cardamone, Sherry Rubin, Ryan Jennings and Patty Brendlinger in the Carbondale office, Chris Patrick, Erin Bassett and John Wendt in the Glenwood office and Jeff Bier in the Redstone office.

Bob Starodoj, who has been the face of Mason Morse for the past 45 years, received the annual Mason Morse Award for providing consistent and visionary leadership and pushing the company to its new horizon while preserving the integrity of the firm through many changes in the real estate industry and the Roaring Fork Valley market.

Carbondale broker Nancy Emerson was chosen for the Collaboration Award. Sherry Rubin, also a broker in the Carbondale office, was awarded the Integrity Award. The award for service went to Shael Johnson, of the Aspen office.

Carrie Wells, of the Aspen office, received the Success Award. Jeff Bier, of the Redstone office, received the Stability Award, while the Most Valuable Player Award was given to Kim Briscoe, the vice president of marketing.

Early this year, local private investment holding company Ajax Holdings acquired Coldwell Banker Mason Morse, the longest-standing real estate brokerage in Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley. Ajax Holdings also acquired Coldwell Banker Mason Morse’s office building at 514 E. Hyman Ave. in Aspen.

After 50 years as an independent firm in the Roaring Fork Valley, Mason Morse Real Estate affiliated with the Coldwell Banker franchise in November 2011 to build one of the largest firms in the region.
