Colbie Caillat cancels Aspen show
December 19, 2007
ASPEN ” Singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat’s sold-out show at Belly Up Aspen on Thursday has been canceled.
Illness forced Caillat to cancel the appearance, according to the nightclub’s website. More information about refunds and rescheduling will be posted at the site as it becomes available, the club said.
Caillat, who was to appear with opening act Trevor Hall, has meteored to fame with her hit, “Bubbly,” the insanely catchy song ” think a sunnier Norah Jones, strumming an acoustic guitar on a Southern California beach ” that made Caillat’s debut album, “Coco,” a platinum seller, thanks in part to the power of the Internet and her MySpace website.
