Closed mind

Dear Editor:

I just had to comment on Janet Urquhart’s article “I’ll stick to skiing.” I’m glad Janet approached snowmobiling with an open mind – not. She had her mind made up before she ever got on a snowmobile that she doesn’t like them.

She also mentioned “there is no purpose and no destination. It’s about tearing around in the snow for the sake of tearing around in the snow.” That statement brings a smile to my face every time I read it.

By the way, what’s the purpose and destination of skiing or snowboarding?
