Close the deal on Community School
Dear Editor:
I have had the privilege to be part of the Aspen Community School for the past seven years and firmly believe it is one of the best places to work – for both kids and teachers.
Small class sizes allow for more personalized instruction and individual attention to learning. The focus on cooperative learning groups also develops students as teachers and mentors. I continually see the effects of this in graduates as they enter their adult lives.
The only thing holding us back right now is the physical plant itself as we prepare to take the next step and upgrade. Thanks to all who have shown their support and especially everyone who has become a part of the fundraising effort. You are part of something very special and your time, and of course money, are highly appreciated.
Let’s finish this campaign and keep moving forward.

The town of Snowmass Village has its eyes on some safety improvements on Highline Road and a section of Brush Creek Road that will give pedestrians and cyclists a little more room to breathe on the side of the road.
