Clifford D. Brelsford, of Sun City, Ariz., passed away Oct. 10, 2011 from multiple organ failure. He was 87.

Clifford was born June 29, 1924 in Summerfield, Kan. to James and Bertha Brelsford. He was married June 1, 1948.

Clifford was a pilot with the Flying Tigers in World War II and a trumpet player. The Brelsfords moved to Aspen in 1956. They owned the Glory Hole Motel and later The Aspen Agency. Cliff played trumpet in The Dirty Old Men.

He is survived by daughters Crystal Zevon and Caren Von Gontard, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
