Clean Energy Collective hosts solar celebration
EL JEBEL – An El Jebel-based company that is building numerous solar farms in Colorado is hosting an Earth Day celebration Wednesday with the theme “Community Solar – The Power is in Your Hands.”
Clean Energy Collective will hold the event from 4 to 7 p.m. at its office across Highway 82 from the El Jebel City Market. The event will include educational displays, speakers from local environmental groups and complimentary food and drinks.
Clean Energy Collective will outline two programs it offers to Holy Cross Energy customers, including the SolarSaver Program, which is a 0 percent financing option that allows customers to pay for their community solar panels in affordable, monthly installments.
The event also will feature a drawing for a free solar panel in Clean Energy Collective’s Garfield County Airport Solar Array. That panel will provide an estimated $7,000 in power production.
