The Aspen Utilities Department is launching a community discussion forum focused on key utility topics, starting with a presentation in conjunction with the EPA’s “Fix a Leak Week.”
The event is scheduled for March 27, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Aspen Police Department’s community room.
The session will cover how to interpret utility bills and how the city’s Advanced Metering Infrastructure technology can identify leaks in homes, helping residents conserve water and reduce costs.
Community members are encouraged to attend. Light refreshments will be available, and the first 20 attendees will receive a free leak detection kit to help identify potential water waste at home.
