Citizens, not foes |

Citizens, not foes

Watching the skiers on Snowmass Mountain, just across from the Center, where the spectacular view of our winter area makes one so thankful to be here, I remembered your Friday December l9 headline: “Base Village foes press for vote.”

We are are not “foes,” we who live here year round. We have been been concerned for many, many years as to how this large acreage along Wood Road would be be developed.

Or perhaps the view, the view is most important to maintain! Blocking our connection to the mountain is unacceptable!

Plans and details from any developer are important for us to consider. Yes, we are Snowmass Village citizens for responsible growth, and we will continue to be a big part of the picture, the changing picture.
