Chili action was hot

Dear Editor:Thank you, community of Aspen, for the best chili cook-off at the Aspen Saturday Market. We thank you for more than 100 votes.People’s Choice: First place was Conundrum Catering; a tie for second was P.J. Johnston of Backdoor Catering, and “Taudrey Audrey” and “Mean Jean” of Coal Mine Chili (they don’t call her “Mean Jean” for nothin’); and third place, Olives restaurant, executive chef Phil Evans. Many thanks to the Aspen Fire Department team, Jessy and Jack and the Dos Amigas chilies, they were great! We will see you next year.Maggie DorroughAspen
