Child or sage?

A previous letter to the editor regarding the Crystal River Marketplace debate characterized Carbondale as a child.

On the contrary, I perceive Carbondale as having the character of a wise old sage. This sage speaks and moves calmly, methodically, considering issues carefully, using not only the head, but the heart as well.

The behavior of the CRMP developers, in comparison, seems like that of a juvenile whose movements and speech are erratic, impulsive and spiteful to those who do not allow them to have their way easily.

These behaviors are characteristic of extreme self-interest, and do not reveal a concern for the good of the whole.

Which traits do you want to characterize your future?
