Child for BOCC
Dear Editor:
We support Steve Child for county commissioner. Like his father, who was one of our better commissioners, Steve is a thoughtful and deliberate person. He understands the long term values of Pitkin County and is a champion of open space, agriculture, community and sustainable measures. He is a listener, a thinker and a doer.
An example would be his stance on the Wexner/Sutey trade. Steve, unlike others, clearly sees the long-term benefit to the whole valley of a trade that will protect forever two large properties – not just one.
Please join us in supporting Steve Child.
