Check out the split entrance
Dear Editor:I encourage anyone serious about compromising on the never-ending Entrance to Aspen debate to look at the split-entrance design at http://www.mfullerarchitects.com.Basically the design maintains two entrances to town with option for rail and skirts the bulk of the Marolt property as opposed to dissecting it. You will have four lanes yet maintain the small town entrance effect with two lanes remaining as the old entrance and two lanes in the new entrance. The new entrance could also accommodate rail.Perhaps a plan similar to this would allow the voters to give a resounding yes to solving our pollution and congestion problems that exist now.Teresa SalvadoreAspen
