Chase, Szczekot engaged
Shannon Szczekot of Graceville, Fla., and Eric Chase of Shelton, Conn., now residing in Carbondale, happily announce their engagement.
Parents of the couple are Janice and Rex Kingry of Panama City Beach, Fla., and Jill and Merle Chase of Shelton, Conn.
The bride is a graduate of Poplar Springs High School in Graceville, Fla., and Core Institute of Tallahassee, Fla. Shannon is currently lead massage therapist at The Aspen Club and Spa.
The groom is a graduate of Shelton High School in Shelton, Conn., and Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pa. Eric is a former member of Aspen Santa Fe Ballet and enjoyed a 12-year professional dance career. He is currently working for the Aspen Community Foundation.
The couple became engaged Oct. 17, 2009, in Yellowstone National Park, and look forward to their September 2010 wedding in Aspen.
