Charred fields, lifted spirits

Dear Editor:

On behalf of the residents at the Ranch at Roaring Fork, we would like to express our sincere thanks to the firefighters, police officers, safety officials, the Red Cross, animal rescue personnel, highway patrol, Ranch at Roaring Fork employees and the many volunteers who sacrificed so much during such a critical time. Your outstanding dedication, your heroic work and the protection you all provided goes beyond thanks. Our fields here are charred but our spirits have been lifted because of people like you. Your hard work and caring about the lives and safety of people has not gone unnoticed.

Terry Larson, Vreni Bishop, Dee Dee O’Brien,

and the many residents at the Ranch at Roaring Fork
